













Since 1995, in Amatlán de los Reyes in the state of Veracruz in Mexico a group of women named "Las patronas" prepare every day, bags of food that they will try to donate to Central American migrants traveling aboard the freight train "la bestia" in order to reach the border of the United States. "Las patronas" also offers a safe space for migrants who want to rest before continuing the road to the North.
